8-WEEK EXAM PREP CIRCUIT
The time it takes to study and prepare for the CCM® exam varies based on your schedule. From the close of the application window, you’ll have at least eight weeks to continue your preparation. This is a high-intensity guide to aid in exam review, designed to elevate your core knowledge and confidence surrounding the six domains. It’s a handy reminder to frequently review materials leading up to the exam, so you feel ready and confident on exam day.

- WEEK 1

Session 1
- To start, download the exam blueprint from the Certification Guide to familiarize yourself with the weighted domains and sub-domains. Then, download the Glossary app and Quiz app to study on the go.
Session 2
- There are a total of 6 domains that are further divided into sub-domains. Highlight any domains and sub-domains that you know may need further review.
- Review Glossary terms on the app for 20 minutes. Be sure to mark the ones that need more focus.
Session 3
- Dedicate time to a focused study session to review the first knowledge domain, Care Management, along with its sub-domains.
- Research, review references, and implement any other study materials that relate to this domain.
- WEEK 2

Sessions 4 & 5
- Continue reviewing Week 1, summarize key concepts and any additional research from Session 3. Focus on previous problem areas and review marked terms from the Glossary app.
Session 6
- Begin domain two, Reimbursement Methods and review its sub-domains. Highlight any areas in which you need further review.
- Research and reference study materials that relate to this domain.
- WEEK 3

Sessions 7 & 8
- Review Glossary terms for 20 minutes. Highlight and tag the words you need more focus on.
- Continue to review the previous domains and sub-domains from Weeks 1 and 2.
Session 9
- Dedicate focused time to knowledge domain three - Psychosocial Concepts and Support Systems.
- Research and reference study materials that relate to this domain and its sub-domains.
- WEEK 4

Sessions 10 & 11
- Review marked terms from the Glossary App for 20 minutes.
- Continue to review the information from Week 3 and research any additional problem areas.
Session 12
- Progress to knowledge domain four, Quality and Outcomes Evaluation and Measurements.
- Research and reference study materials that relate to this domain.
- WEEK 5

Sessions 13 & 14
- Continue reviewing Week 4, summarize key concepts and any additional research from Session 12. Focus on previously challenging areas and review marked terms from the Glossary App.
Session 15
- Dedicate this time to a focused study session for domain five, Rehabilitation Concepts and Strategies.
- Research additional domain concepts and review materials related to those concepts.
- WEEK 6

Session 16
- Review Glossary terms for 20 minutes. Mark and practice the words you need more focus on.
- Continue to review the information from Weeks 4 and 5 emphasizing challenging areas.
Session 17
- Begin knowledge domain six, Ethical, Legal, and Practice Standards.
- Research, review references, and implement any other study materials that relate to this domain.
Session 18
- Watch our Rooted in Excellence video series to see how the power of your hard work is leading you to the right path to excellence.
- WEEK 7

- Test your knowledge with exam practice items and the Quiz App. Review study materials from Week 6 and any other challenging areas.
- WEEK 8

Sessions 20 - 24
- Review ALL materials, domains and sub-domains along with questions that you may have missed in the exam practice items or the Quiz App.

Certification 360® Virtual:
The Certification 360® Virtual Workshop provides insights into case management in place of our in-person workshops. The Commission is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
This program has been pre-approved by The Commission™ to provide continuing education credit to CCM® Board-certified Case Managers. The course is approved for 12 CE contact hour(s). Activity code and Approval number will be awarded on your certificate of completion.
This program is approved by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).
The Commission is recognized by the New York State Education Department’s State Board for Social Work as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed social workers.
Criteria for Awarding CE/Contact Hours: Upon completion of the workshop, an evaluation must be completed. You must be present for the full duration of the sessions to earn the 12 CE/contact hours.
