Empowering Professionals to Deliver Informed, Compassionate, and Evidence-Based Care for Individuals with Disorders of Consciousness.

1. Be able to define the generally accepted subcategories of disorders of consciousness (DoC)

2. Be able to describe the unique medical management, diagnostic, prognostic, and treatment considerations for individuals who present with DoC

3. Gain an understanding of both practice guidelines and minimum competency standards for rehabilitation providers who sertve individuals with DoC and their families

4. Identify generally accepted characteristics of the post-traumatic confusional state (PTCS) and understand the unique clinical approach to individuals with this presentation.
